Double Room In Arts And Crafts Cottage With Garden

Double room to let in a lovely early 20th century arts and crafts cottage in Hampstead Garden Suburb, an attractive conservation area. It has an idyllic rural setting with a garden backing on to woodland: owls, woodpeckers and other birds abound. A light and comfortable sitting room opens on to the garden. It has a bright kitchen and a separate dining room with a good upright piano.

I'm looking for a professional man with similar interests who will appreciate a quiet location that is rural in character but close to shops (5-7 minutes) and other amenities and has reasonable access to central London: it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Golders Green or East Finchley stations on the Northern Line (zone 3), but there are buses to get there more quickly. Parking is available outside the house or nearby.

I work in the civil service in a demanding job, lead a busy social life, and have a partner who lives outside London. As a result I am not at home much in the evenings and at weekends, but I value my home environment and the companionship of a housemate.
