Bright Decent Sized Double in Heart of Herne Hill

Hello!!

We are looking for a new housemate to move into our lovely, large, 4-bedroom home right in the heart of Herne Hill, the room is available from the 1st of May.

We are three female professionals in our 30s looking for a replacement for our 4th. Sadly he is abandoning us for pastures anew after living here happily for the past 4 years. We welcome all genders, be it Female/Male & Non-binary etc.

It’s the kind of place where people stay for a long time as it's brilliantly located for transport and amenities, as well as being a comfortable, warm, and welcoming space to call home. We're located 1-minute walk to Herne Hill train station (10 minutes on the train into Victoria; 12 minutes to Blackfriars and City), and there is a bus stop pretty much outside the front door (5 minutes on the bus to the centre of Brixton, which is also less than a 15-minute walk). The amazing Brockwell Park, where we make the most of the Lido, the yearly festivals and the odd attempt at a Park Run is just over the road, serving as our front garden. Downstairs are all the local shops, including a supermarket which is open until late.

We are looking for pretty standard qualities in a housemate. Easy-going, clean & tidy, and a professional who will love living here as much as we do. We enjoy some socialising/Netflix bingeing/cooking together, and exploring London, but the place is also big enough to all have our own space when needed and not be on top of each other!

The room available is an unfurnished double and the rest of the house is fully furnished, a little lived in, but comes with a comfortable large living room and a sweet view during the night (see pictures). Our previous housemate is annoyingly stealing the tv in the living room, so bonus if you also come with one. We have two bathrooms between the four of us, plus one additional downstairs toilet. The room available currently has some water damage which will be decorated prior to the move in date.

The rent is £720 which does not include bills, these are currently about £120 each for everything including the council tax which is Band E. We are entering in another 18month lease and so, the the deposit is around £866 but will need to confirm this.
