We are two working professionals in our twenties - Nidhi (Indian, she/her) and Siân (English, she/her) - looking for a new flatmate to join us from Saturday July 13th 2024. We are both friendly and easy-going but also respectful of other's privacy and space. We are open to spending time together to get to know each other and build a friendly home life. :)

We like to keep the flat tidy and cosy and expect our new housemate to be equally tidy and considerate. Both of us are usually busy with our work - we both work from home part time, and we'd like the future housemate to be mindful of that (i. e. no loud music at 2AM and the like). Besides that, we are very easy to get along with and want you to feel welcome.

The flat is in Kilburn, in a quiet but vibrant neighbourhood in Zone 2. It is very well connected: you are 5 min away from several bus lines, 10 min away from the Bakerloo line, 15 min away from Jubilee line and near 2 overground stations as well. In summary, you can be in the city centre in 25 min.

We're situated within a short walk of the main road, Kilburn High road. There are 4 different supermarkets, 5 different banks and a Boots and Superdrug less than 5 min distance from the house. There are also 3 gyms very close by, including a 24h one. Overall, it is a very comfortable place to live.

We have fibre optic which can cope with three people working from home/streaming simultaneously if needed. The bedroom comes fully furnished (double bed, new IKEA desk & chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, full length standing mirror, bedside table, desk lamp and small desk mirror).

A bit about us...

Nidhi: I am a service designer working for a tech company. Apart from my 9-5 work , I often like to cook, watch films and spend time in nature. I also do Japanese martial arts (but don't worry, I won't practise on you..!)

Siân: I typically work in visual effects for film and tv but am currently working in hospitality between FX jobs. I love a movie and take-out night, and regularly play D&D with friends. I love nature and music, and regularly go to a cult cinema club in East London, as well as local cabaret and drag events.

Monthly utility bills are approx. £60 pounds + £60 council tax (band C).
