Double Room In Southwark In Large 4 Bedroom Flat

We have a small double room available in a 4 bedroom flat, 3 minute walk from Southwark station (Jubilee line) and 10 minutes walk from Waterloo and London Bridge (National Rail, Northern, Bakerloo and Waterloo and City lines).

We’re also seconds away from the Old and Young Vic theatres, a number of decent pubs, several supermarkets and great restaurants (yes we’re spoilt). Two housemates also walk to work and will tell you it’s 35 minutes to Oxford Circus and 10 to Southbank (that means no travelcard).

The room is available from the 1st September at the latest but preferably a week or so before this. You would be living with 3 young professionals; Becky, a wine merchant, Lee and Matt who works in advertising.

The flat is spread over 3 floors and has an open plan kitchen & lounge that gets used a lot so no ‘eat in my room’ types please. We also have the luxury of a large roof terrace where I’ve tried to cultivate a garden and host a few BBQs. If you’ve had a rough day a beer on the roof overlooking the City and listening to Big Ben will sort you out.

That’s not all. Your rent also includes access to the complex’s gym which houses; a treadmill, cross-trainer, selection of free weights and a sauna.

Bills are roughly £130 per month on top of that. This covers council tax, wireless internet, landline, and a fortnightly cleaner (doing bathrooms and communal areas).

As I said before this is not a flat for shy and retiring types, we want a talkative addition to the house. Presentable, charming and tidy. We’ve done well to keep good relationships with the neighbours so we would hope you would be comfortable doing the same. However, don’t let the relaxed atmosphere fool you, we all work hard but we’ll show you a good time when we have time.

Guys or Girls, we don’t mind, so long as there is plenty to talk about.
