2 double rooms available in our 7 bedroom warehouse conversion in Stoke Newington.
THE ROOMs
The rooms are split in two levels, and are available to single people for £800pm including bills.
The mezzanine is big enough to fit a king size bed, and spacious lower floor.
The room has an internal window onto the bright communal space and an extra large SAD light included (please note: no external window).
The room will be left unfurnished, and can be decorated as you please!
COMMUNAL AREA
The flat is on the ground floor, with a HUGE open plan kitchen living room and shared desk area with studio. We have very tall ceilings and massive sliding doors that open onto an outdoor courtyard/garden area (the turquoise doors pictured have since been replaced with huge glass sliding doors). There is a desk space available in the communal area if you would like to use it. The space is bright and airy and has fun quirky features, such as a kiln, potters wheel, film projector, and a swing!
The space has two bathrooms, one has a bath/shower, the other has a shower.
Spacious kitchen with three fridge freezers and generous storage.
We also have a separate house card that we each pay £34 to each month to cover communal needs, such as a weekly cleaner, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies.
THE AREA
We are situated a 3 min walk from Stoke Newington train station, and very close to several parks, and Church street, with great shops, restaurants and pubs. Also really close to the canal and amazing Lea Valley.

We are a creative bunch, with current tenant occupations including: a potter, tattoo artist, designer, knitwear specialist, software engineer and film director. A few of us work from home.
We are a queer friendly household with mix of sexual orientations and gender identities.
We are a social and engaged community, but also respect each others privacy and alone time.
It's generally quiet in the week to respect each others working schedules.
We have the odd little party maybe twice a year but this isn't a big 'party' house.
We like to keep the communal areas clean, tidy and stress free.
No pets please.
We currently have 2 kittens living in the space. And 2 ‘part time’ dogs, who visit for a few hours in the week.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
At the moment we are accepting month-to-month short term lets at this price because we are currently negotiating a new contract with the landlord and the rent is likely in change in a few months. Once the new rent is confirmed we will be offering a longer term contract.
We are looking for someone who is actively clean and committed to maintaining a harmonious shared space.
A community minded person - someone who wants to engage with other housemates but also respects others privacy.
Preferably someone who is compatible with a 9-5 schedule, to match ours.
