The flat

Modern 2-bed ground floor flat with spacious, light living room, modern bathroom and plenty of storage space. Flat is on the corner meaning plenty of light. Good sized kitchen, which includes a washer/dryer. Flat is modern inside with wood flooring, but well insulated in winter. Small patio around the flat, with French doors in the living room. Whole flat was re-painted in July 2021.

Bills are approx £120 a month. (£1,000pcm, total)

The room

Light double bedroom with plenty of storage, including two door wardrobe, drawers and shelving space. Room for a desk, however you can also use the living room if you are working from home.

The location

Brilliantly located with Lambeth North (Bakerloo) and Vauxhall (Victoria) both less than 10 minutes walk away. Waterloo (Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee), Westminster (District, Circle, Jubilee) and Kennington (Northern) stations are all within a 15-20 minute walk.

Small row of shops opposite the flat, with a Tesco Express 5 mins walk away. Close to Kennington which has plenty of pubs and restaurants. The river is 3 mins walk away, there's an art gallery around the corner and a pub at the end of the road. The neighbourhood is nice, quiet and safe.

The flat is rented through a private landlord who used to live in the flat so knows it well, and also means no need to deal with agencies.

The flatmate

I'm Jamie. I've lived in the flat since August 2021 and absolutely love it. I work as a data analyst in central London, going to the office 3-4 days a week. I enjoy reading, sunny days at the pub and searching for the best burgers in London. Ideally looking for another easy-going young professional to go for the occasional coffee or drink with.
