A modern, well lit but quiet double room with private bathroom is available from the start of May 2024.

The room (along with the rest of the flat) comes furnished and has good storage. It has excellent light with large windows. There is a lot of storage with a large ottoman lifting bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. There is also a large communal storage cupboard in the hallway.

The flat has a spacious communal living space; a living room in open plan with the kitchen. The kitchen comes with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and cooker. There is some limited space indoors for bicycles. There is a communal large balcony facing into the courtyard of the mews. There is also access to a large communal roof top to enjoy the sunshine in spring and summer.

The flat is situated inside a modern, quiet gated compound a five minute walk from Whitechapel station, 10 mins from Bethnal Green (tube and Overground), and with good access to Canary Wharf from the DLR at Shadwell. The location is only a 20 minute walk to Brick Lane and into Shoreditch. There is limited off street parking for motorbikes/scooters only and secure bike sheds.

The room is available for a long lease with 10 months remaining on the lease. I am moving due to getting married with my other half who lives in France

My remaining housemate is very open, and welcome enquiries from all; male, female, non-binary, LGBTQ+. Valued are people with open, inquisitive minds, sociable with a sense of fun. Sadly however, we would not be able to welcome couples as this is a single occupancy room. Bills are not included.

The housemate you will be living with is a 34 year old male professional working in sales who has travelled widely, enjoys cooking, music, socialising outside of the flat with friends, and always with a big smile. He travels a lot for work, often away for 2-3 weeks at a time, so you will have a lot of personal space and time in the flat, but a friendly and social flatmate when he is present.
