Lodger wanted in Bethnal Green

Must have a lady lodger. I’m a lesbian lefty feminist, but with GSOH, so don’t worry. Creative types welcome as well as lesbian lodgers, but straight women welcome too. I’m a 20 minute walk or short bus ride to the Royal London Hospital so very convenient for anyone working there. Also easy transport links to Kings Cross, central London, and Stratford.

A delightful, sunny, fully furnished room with a friendly resident landlady in Bethnal Green, one of the most vibrant parts of East London. Situated in a pretty Edwardian estate very close to Bethnal Green Gardens, a small park, 10 minutes from Bethnal Green and Stepney Green tube stations. Whitechapel and Shoreditch High Street Overground stations are also close by. Near to Bethnal Green bars and restaurants and Victoria and Mile End parks are a 15 minute walk away. Enjoy Westfield Shopping Centre and the Olympic Park at Stratford, 10 minutes by tube.

There is a shared bathroom (both bath and shower) and access to the shared lounge and kitchen. There is no parking, but visitors parking is available at £2 an hour and £6 overnight. I’m Irish so need to talk – we might not become BFF, but it would be good to have a chat in the evening after work, though I understand that some days you’ll want to just shut your bedroom door and forget about the world for the evening. Unfortunately the room doesn't have a desk so I can't have a lodger who works from home.
