The available bedroom is on the second and third floor of a converted mid-century Victorian on Eastlake Road. It is furnished with a double bed & mattress . There is storage under the bed, a separate cupboard for storage outside of the room and a desk that can be left in the flat free of charge. The room shares a well equipped bathroom with one other person.
The flat is in good condition with a large, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and reception/dining area. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer.
The house is a 15 minute walk to Brixton Station; a 5 min walk to Loughborough Junction and a 12-minute walk to the Overground at Denmark Hill. The 345, 45, 35 and P7 buses all stop nearby. There is also street parking available. There is a bike hangar across the road.
Thameslink/Southeast trains serve Loughborough Station, which is unbelievably convenient - Blackfriars is a 7-minute train ride away, and it’s 18mins to Kings Cross.
In the area, there is a nice coffee shop and a great pizzeria (Theo’s!!). Camberwell Green and the Brixton Village market are both a ten-minute walk away. We’re a 5min walk from a Co-op, Nisa, and a Tesco metro.
There's also a Lidl and a Morisons 10mins down the road in Camberwell.
The landlord will require work references, ID documents and one month's rent for the deposit.
The rental period starts on 1 June. Bills are an additional £130. We separately organise a cleaner approximately once a month for an additional £15.
You would be sharing with two other flatmates: Kate (Tech start up), and Tom (marketing). We’re both into cooking, fitness, coffee, art, and exploring London. We're a very chill flat, social & like inviting people over for dinner and going to the pub etc, but also quite low key and independent from each other. Bonus points if you have house plants to bring because we love em and the collection is growing 🪴
