Two professional women in a clean, tidy three-bedroom flat seeking a stable, respectful, clean, and tidy tenant. We are buying this property and will be live-in co-owners.
This approximately 15 sq meter furnished bedroom features:
Comfortable double bed (medium firmness)
Wardrobe, 2 cabinets, desk, lounge chair, bedside table, shoe storage, mirror
Mattress and furniture all purchased in the last year
Large window which gets sunshine
Plush carpet
Shared wall with only 1 flatmate. The other wall is not shared with anyone.
The flat features:
2 bathrooms - one with shower and toilet, one with toilet
Washing machine and separate dryer
Open plan kitchen/dining/living room
Large, comfy new couch
Storage space outside of the bedroom:
1 shelf in the shared fridge
1 drawer in the freezer
1 cabinet for pantry items
1 full under-sink cabinet in the large bathroom
Council tax is included (band E). Other bills are not included. The estimated monthly bills cost is £130, which includes high-speed internet and a housekeeper twice a month. Please keep in mind that we (the two current women living in the flat) are purchasing this flat so we are still finding out the exact monthly bills cost and decorating the shared space. So the space will only get more stylish over time :).
We want to find someone who is a good fit so we are trying to set expectations up front:
There will be 30 days notice for both parties for first two months to try the arrangement, then to increase to 60 days notice from either party for the duration of the agreement.
We can only consider single tenants, no couples. We can only consider tenants who can agree to stay for a minimum of 6 months to save the time of searching for a new tenant again in a short period of time. We cannot accommodate any pets. No smokers or vapes.
We practice quiet hours between 10pm and 8am all week. Safety and respect is key, especially around only inviting trusted guests to the flat and keeping the front door locked. Any guest staying over regularly or for long periods will need to be agreed with all flatmates.
We are looking for a tenant who will be clean and tidy in the shared spaces. Messes should be cleaned on the same day they are made. We have a dishwasher and expect it to be used for dishwasher-safe items as it’s more hygienic for everyone.
We prefer a tenant who goes into the office or is out of the house on most Thursdays and/or Fridays, though this is not required.
